He is a surgeon of excellence for bariatric surgery, having more than 15 years experience in bariatric surgery. Currently, he is the director of bariatric services in Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai. He is a Certified Surgeon of excellence for bariatric and metabolic surgery by EAC-BS (IFSO-International Federation for the surgery of obesity and metabolic disorders).
Prior to this, he was head of the Bariatric and Surgery department at Novomed Centers and Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, where he established the first bariatric centre of excellence, which is also the first of its kind in UAE. Also, he was heading the surgery department in other Reputed hospitals across United Arab Emirates.
